Course Overview
Within this Health Education Course you will learn through a practical situation where you will create a Health Promotion which focuses on enhancing the community's well-being involved with a health issue you have found. As well as exploring ways with how to deal with managing changes and have authentic learning experiences which will link back to relevant real life situations. Near the end of our journey will look at exploring a diverse range of sexualities and the influences media and society has on us. For your external exam you will explore the misuse of adolescents with alcohol.
In this course we will learn about the key underlying concepts such as Hauora, Socio-ecological perspective, Attitudes and values, Health Promotion and then you will implement them into different contexts.
