Course Overview
Students can use language variably and effectively to express and justify their own ideas and opinions and support or challenge those of others. They are able to use and identify linguistic and cultural forms that guide interpretation and enable them to respond critically to texts.
The course offers up to 24 credits and includes a speech, a written portfolio, an interaction portfolio and two external standards (listening comprehension and reading comprehension). Students will be invited to enter the combination of standards that best suits their strengths and learning goals.
