L3 Chemistry: Oxidation-Reduction - Module (T1)

A type of chemical reaction in which the oxidation states of atoms are changed.

Course Overview

Redox reactions are characterized by the transfer of electrons between chemical species. Learners will develop knowledge of the appearance and state of reactants and their products. The principles of electrochemical and galvanic cells will be studied along with the use of electrode potentials to identify the relative strength of oxidants and reductants.
