Course Overview
This course explores factors that influence people’s wellbeing and the health of communities in Aotearoa New Zealand. Students will examine current health issues, analyse influences such as societal attitudes and media, and develop strategies for promoting hauora (wellbeing). Learning focuses on critical thinking, decision-making, and taking action to enhance health outcomes for individuals and groups.
