NCEA L1 Health
Within this Health Education course you will learn the concepts of Hauora and how goal setting and action plans can help make positive changes to your personal well being. You will look into causes of changes in wellbeing and develop strategies to discover how they can support and impact positive changes to Hauora.
Students will understand the importance and impact of interpersonal skills and how developing these skills can enhance relationships. For the external exams students will demonstrate their knowledge of health enhancing decisions in drug related situations and how adolescent eating patterns and influences can enhance wellbeing.
In this course we will learn about the key underlying concepts such as Hauora, adolescent eating patterns, interpersonal skills, relationships and health enhancing decisions around drugs.
