Would you like to explore your heritage language and identity, and connect with your heritage culture?

You will have the opportunity to:

- Explore culture and language through an inquiry about something that interests you

- Learn about and create different crafts and art forms in the languages and cultures you are exploring

- Develop your speaking, listening, reading and writing skills

- Learn more about how to develop language learning skills and improve your literacy skills

You will be learning through a mixture of self-directed study and classes led by teachers from the school and members of the community.

Sue Kim has been teaching Korean, Japanese, and Digital Technology in New Zealand for over 20 years. She is originally from Busan, Korea, but has been living in New Zealand since 1996. Ms. Kim is a Martial Arts expert and is experienced in Kung Fu, Tae-Kwon-Do, and is currently training in Karate on a regular basis as well as competing, judging, and refereeing at National competitions. She also loves tramping, walking, and running.
