Kia ora NetNZ students! My name is Scott Muir. I am originally from the small town of Roxburgh, Central Otago, the home of Jimmy's pies! This year I moved back to Roxburgh where myself and my partner live. I completed my Bachelor degree double-majoring in History and Geography before completing my master of teaching and learning at Otago University. I am passionate about these subjects and hope to be a successful online teacher. I am in a unique position as I too learnt through NetNZ so I understand this experience can be daunting but please make the most of the opportunity to engage with your online class and with myself. I am sure we will have a great year and I look forward to meeting everyone
