The Teacher

Jen Howden

1Students 15 Courses

I have been teaching Chemistry and junior Science at Waitaki Girls High School for 14 years as well as Ag / Hort and Agribusiness. As these have elements such as healthy food sources, the business of farming, science of genetics and reproduction and environmental concerns included in the criteria they cover many areas that I am passionate about. One of my interests is growing healthier food as we will need to feed more people with less land. Outside of school we have an orchard, mainly heritage variety apples and are involved in sequence dancing (a little different from ballroom).
