Learn to use, write, and recognise simple Japanese phrases and sentences with basic kanji.
Students will be able to understand and use simple phrases and sentences from Levels 1 to 4 of Japanese in the New Zealand Curriculum. They will learn to read and write basic kanji (about 40) and learn and practise katakana (46). The aim of this course is for students to talk about themselves in more detail, such as family, pets, hobbies, foods likes and dislikes.
